With such a high-profile event that would set the stage for the ballet, it was essential that the catering offered matched the exceptional quality of Northern Ballet events.
Revealing what people say about Dine. Recommendations are so important when selecting an event management or catering service. Sharing a few comments from suppliers and clients received in the last few months, offers a little insight in to why people choose to work with us.
Valentine's themed Ambassadors' dinner "three steps to your heart" menu, with the intention to delight our carefully selected guests.
Guests arrived at the venue located 15 minutes from Leeds city centre from 5.45pm and were greeted with an arrival cocktail in the Grand Staircase Hall. Guests were offered the opportunity to take photographs with supplied props and the Mad Hatter himself offering an opportunity to post on social media. Those who felt so inclined could test their strategic skills by taking part in a giant chess game in the Colonnades, or have a game of flamingo ‘croquet’.
We developed an indulgent menu, breaking the usual January rules of fasting, dieting and detox... because frankly none of that stuff is any fun at all! Chef designed a menu fit for royalty, with elements of smoke (giving up smoking), chocolate and fine wines were paired with every dish (dry January - no alcohol).
This lovely couple came to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with their children, in the place where it all began 50 years ago. We are all hopeless romantics at Dine, so on hearing their story we wanted to do something really special for this couple and decided to recreate their wedding menu from 1966, with a Dine twist!
At Christmas, we all look forward to the annual gathering of family and friends, yet the day itself can be frenetic with all that present opening (if you’ve been good), cooking and hospitality. The key to enjoying the day is planning, according to Mark Dawson, Head Chef at Dine. Here are his top tips to spice up your festive feast.
An indulgent feast steeped in festive opulence, celebrating the hard work and successes of 2016. This regency inspired menu was designed with the surroundings and seasonality in mind; taking the traditional values of a Christmas dinner and adding a key ingredient - 'the Dine difference' to make it a feast for the memory books!
Nicola & Richard first got in touch with Dine in January 2015; after their tour of Wentworth with Craig (Head of Events at Dine), they knew that this was the venue for them. In April 2015, they booked their wedding with Dine at Wentworth Woodhouse, and from that point forward we took care of the planning of their special day. In the midst of all the excitement of their engagement, they welcomed baby Isaac into the world - a fabulous start to 2015!
Laura and Alex chose to celebrate their special day with us at The Mansion in September this year. The mix of vintage pastels and soft grey colour palette complemented the setting perfectly. This was a day, like many of the weddings we host at The Mansion, charged with emotion and love for the beautiful couple. The Father of the Bride's face on this occasion says it all....
Sean & Paul celebrated their wedding with us at The Mansion in Roundhay Park, Leeds in June this year. The personal details of their wedding were just lovely, so we were delighted when they agreed to share their wedding journey with us. There are some fabulous highlights from the proposal in New York and honeymoon in Boston, so I would recommend grabbing a cuppa and sitting down to give this a good read - it's a fabulous story!
