Laura and Alex chose to celebrate their special day with us at The Mansion in September this year. The mix of vintage pastels and soft grey colour palette complemented the setting perfectly. This was a day, like many of the weddings we host at The Mansion, charged with emotion and love for the beautiful couple. The Father of the Bride's face on this occasion says it all....
Sean & Paul celebrated their wedding with us at The Mansion in Roundhay Park, Leeds in June this year. The personal details of their wedding were just lovely, so we were delighted when they agreed to share their wedding journey with us. There are some fabulous highlights from the proposal in New York and honeymoon in Boston, so I would recommend grabbing a cuppa and sitting down to give this a good read - it's a fabulous story!
We were delighted by the approach from Wellpleased Events to offer the catering and hospitality at such a prestigious event, earlier this year. The John Lewis store was everything we imagined and more! Feeling very privileged indeed to be doing the catering for the VIP's, just hours before the store opened to the public, the very next morning - we headed up to the 4th floor with our guest passes, sneaking glimpses of the shiny new makeup counters and beautifully merchandised womenswear department.
Fresh from winning gold and silver medals at the Rio Olympics, followed by a heroic demonstration of brotherly love at the Triathlon World Series in Mexico, Leeds-born triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee joined us last week for a celebratory dinner at The Mansion in Roundhay Park. We put on a seasonal dinner fit for the Olympic winners, with a Halloween menu of cream of Jerusalem artichoke soup served in mini pumpkins, chorizo and bean casserole served in a cauldron with smoked pork fillet, boudin noir wrapped in pancetta and roasted chestnuts. Dessert served in a witches hat with dry ice was sticky toffee pudding, orange and ginger caramel sauce and baby toffee apple with cinder toffee. Other guests drawn from the Leeds business community joined the duo.
We were delighted to return to the JCT600 Brooklands Showroom with a custom Italian Canapé menu and cases of Veuve Cliquot for the launch of the GTC4 Lusso. The team at Dine thoroughly enjoy creating and delivering a party to celebrate the launch of a new car - a smart showroom, plenty of lights to make everything shine and a detailed canapé brief all combine to make a fabulous evening.
In 1966, Clive & Angela celebrated their wedding at The Mansion in Roundhay. They recently returned to The Mansion and booked a table in The Garden Room, to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary; the lovely couple had their picture taken on the stair case, recreating memories from their special day – followed by lunch with their nearest and dearest.
We were delighted by the approach to do the catering for this spectacular 25th wedding anniversary. Initial discussions took place in March this year and we delivered the event in August. Relishing the opportunity to work with some other fantastic suppliers, we collaborated to make this milestone anniversary truly memorable.
We were delighted when Bolton Abbey invited us to offer VIP hospitality at the Katherine Jenkins concert. This would be the first event of this scale at Bolton Abbey, so we were thrilled to be involved.
Emma & Ben's Marquee Wedding at Beck Bottom Farm was certainly one to remember! Matt (Dine MD) guided this lovely family through the journey of planning their dream wedding and delivered what was promised on the day. Another great example of the Dine difference...
There were a lot of happy faces in the office when Kevin Sinfield (Leeds rugby legend!) accepted our invitation to attend the August Ambassadors' dinner. We treat all of our events with the same commitment to exceptional service and great quality menus is part of the Dine missions statement " Dine, making every event special..". This evening especially, we wanted to deliver the best of Dine to one of Yorkshire's treasures (although it should be noted that Kevin and his lovely wife Jayne are from Lancashire).
This week we invite you to celebrate one of our national 'foodie' treasures - afternoon tea for two (it wouldn't be as much fun if you didn't share the experience with a friend)! Here at The Mansion, we lovingly prepare and serve afternoon tea for hundreds of customers visiting our The Garden Room café. We also work with clients on the private event side of our business, to develop and create innovative versions of this much loved treat.
