Event Staff

We're recruiting now for our Summer Events Team! If you can tick the boxes below, apply now to be part of our brilliant team:

  • Applicants must be 18+
  • Much of the work is evenings and weekends
  • Your own transport is helpful but not essential
  • Ideally you'll have some  experience in hospitality perhaps from a restaurant, hotel or bar
  • You can sign up for shifts to suit you using our online portal
  • You'll need to be polite, professional and enthusiastic
  • You'll be able to cope with long shifts (staff meals are provided), be quick thinking, and most importantly, enjoy being one of the team.

Before the season starts we'll run a food service training session which you'll need to attend.  You'll also receive on the job training.

In return, you will be able to work on some spectacular events in a wide variety of stunning venues across Yorkshire. Working with Dine, you'll be involved in all aspects of our events from setup through to service. To apply please email your CV to events@dine.co.uk

Finance Assistant

Leeds| Full time | £19,000-£22,000 pa based on experience

Objectives of the Role

Reporting to the Finance Director & Owner, the role is focused on ensuring the efficiency of the finance department by working accurately & swiftly. Your day to day duties will include:

  • Purchase Ledger Transactions
  • Debtor Ledger
  • Raising Payments
  • Preparation of monthly payroll
  • Accruals and prepayment reconciliation
  • Banking supervision and reconciliation
  • VAT return completion to meet statutory timescales
  • Job costings completed for all Events and Restaurant profitability

Key Aptitudes

This role requires:

  • A background in book keeping
  • A highly fastidious approach to customer & colleague communication born from a high level of literacy, numeracy & IT Skills.
  • Ownership of the brand and the importance of getting the finer details right across the board.
  • Exceptional commitment & time management in order to achieve personal & company objectives.

Venue Sales Manager

Leeds/York | Full time | Circa £25,000 pa, flexible depending on experience

Objectives of the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work alongside our current Sales Manager and a small team of Event Managers to achieve our revenue targets for two of our core venues – Rise Hall & The Mansion. We are looking for you to lead by example and take ownership over the sales process, adopting an active role in the selling and promotion of the venues as well as our catering & events service which we sell as part of the overall experience.

You will be required to demonstrate a successful background in event sales &/or marketing. Managerial experience is not essential but an ability to self-motivate and an infectious enthusiasm for sales & providing a first rate customer experience is desirable.
