With such a high-profile event that would set the stage for the ballet, it was essential that the catering offered matched the exceptional quality of Northern Ballet events.

Valentine’s themed Ambassadors’ dinner “three steps to your heart” menu, with the intention to delight our carefully selected guests.
Guests arrived at the venue located 15 minutes from Leeds city centre from 5.45pm and were greeted with an arrival cocktail in the Grand Staircase Hall. Guests were offered the opportunity to take photographs with supplied props and the Mad Hatter himself offering an opportunity to post on social media. Those who felt so inclined could test their strategic skills by taking part in a giant chess game in the Colonnades, or have a game of flamingo ‘croquet’.
We developed an indulgent menu, breaking the usual January rules of fasting, dieting and detox… because frankly none of that stuff is any fun at all!
Chef designed a menu fit for royalty, with elements of smoke (giving up smoking), chocolate and fine wines were paired with every dish (dry January – no alcohol).
This lovely couple came to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with their children, in the place where it all began 50 years ago. We are all hopeless romantics at Dine, so on hearing their story we wanted to do something really special for this couple and decided to recreate their wedding menu from 1966, with a Dine twist!

This regency inspired menu was designed with the surroundings and seasonality in mind; taking the traditional values of a Christmas dinner and adding a key ingredient – ‘the Dine difference’ to make it a feast for the memory books!
Nicola & Richard first got in touch with Dine in January 2015; after their tour of Wentworth with Craig (Head of Events at Dine), they knew that this was the venue for them. In April 2015, they booked their wedding with Dine at Wentworth Woodhouse, and from that point forward we took care of the planning of their special day. In the midst of all the excitement of their engagement, they welcomed baby Isaac into the world – a fabulous start to 2015!
Laura and Alex chose to celebrate their special day with us at The Mansion in September this year. The mix of vintage pastels and soft grey colour palette complemented the setting perfectly. Sean & Paul celebrated their wedding with us at The Mansion in Roundhay Park, Leeds in June this year. The personal details of their wedding were just lovely, so we were delighted when they agreed to share their wedding journey with us. We were delighted by the approach from Wellpleased Events to offer the catering and hospitality at such a prestigious event, earlier this year.
The John Lewis store was everything we imagined and more! Feeling very privileged indeed to be doing the catering for the VIP’s, just hours before the store opened to the public, the very next morning – we headed up to the 4th floor with our guest passes, sneaking glimpses of the shiny new makeup counters and beautifully merchandised womenswear department.
Fresh from winning gold and silver medals at the Rio Olympics, followed by a heroic demonstration of brotherly love at the Triathlon World Series in Mexico, Leeds-born triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee joined us last week for a celebratory dinner at The Mansion in Roundhay Park.
We put on a seasonal dinner fit for the Olympic winners, with a Halloween menu of cream of Jerusalem artichoke soup served in mini pumpkins, chorizo and bean casserole served in a cauldron with smoked pork fillet, boudin noir wrapped in pancetta and roasted chestnuts. Dessert served in a witches hat with dry ice was sticky toffee pudding, orange and ginger caramel sauce and baby toffee apple with cinder toffee. Other guests drawn from the Leeds business community joined the duo.
We were delighted to return to the JCT600 Brooklands Showroom with a custom Italian Canapé menu and cases of Veuve Cliquot for the launch of the GTC4 Lusso. The team at Dine thoroughly enjoy creating and delivering a party to celebrate the launch of a new car – a smart showroom, plenty of lights to make everything shine and a detailed canapé brief all combine to make a fabulous evening.
In 1966, Clive & Angela celebrated their wedding at The Mansion in Roundhay. They recently returned to The Mansion and booked a table in The Garden Room, to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary; the lovely couple had their picture taken on the stair case, recreating memories from their special day – followed by lunch with their nearest and dearest.

Relishing the opportunity to work with some other fantastic suppliers, we collaborated to make this milestone anniversary truly memorable.

The street food trend that has been gaining momentum over the past few years shows no signs of stopping, with these often quirky little vans cropping up in all sorts of locations – parties, festivals and even high-end shopping malls. Last week the Dine team were thrilled when Gloria, a fabulous mint-green Vietnamese food van rolled up to The Mansion as part of a team food and wine tasting evening. As part of our arduous training (we take our work very seriously!) we got to taste some delicious healthy Vietnamese street food- the chicken satay mini baguette was a huge hit!
