Belvoir Castle

The ancestral home of the Dukes of Rutland. The castle is steeped in history, dating back to the early 1800s and has been lovingly preserved as a family home throughout the centuries.  Belvoir sits proudly on a hill in the countryside of Leicestershire and offers a fairytale setting for any special event which is why it's often used for weddings and private parties.

The castle was given the French name Belvoir – meaning beautiful view – now pronounced ‘beaver’ and is one of the most beautiful regency houses in England.

There are two beautiful rooms that can be used for wedding ceremonies in the heart of the castle.

You may then choose to remain in the house where receptions can be held for up to 120 guests, in one of the collection of individual and unique rooms.

If you are looking for a larger space, then the lakeside marquee can offer the flexibility to facilitate up to 500 guests. Here you can entertain family and friends with impressive views of the castle. We particularly love the marquees from Shades.
