We are looking for a highly competent Board Assistant to take up this challenging and varied role at a senior level. You will support the MD with the day to day running of the company, screen calls and deal with issues on his behalf, take the initiative in decision making in his absence and compose correspondence and reports. You will carry out specific research and undertake projects for the company, serve as on-site liaison for staff, clients and suppliers and be responsible for the co-ordination of the work flow to meet Standard Operating Procedure processes.

Key requirements include: 

  • At least five years’ experience of working at Board level with management and other work teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
  • Ability to think proactively and laterally to deal with last-minute changes or offer different options to deal with changing circumstance
  • A high degree of personal organization, attention to detail and working within a very exacting workflow
  • High level of verbal and written articulacy, spelling and grammar
  • Numerate with the ability to present and analyse numerical data
  • Knowledge of MS office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent social skills, able to operate with diplomacy, tact and empathy at all levels

EVENTS MANAGER

You will be directly involved in both the selling and promoting our venues, through to the physical delivery of events right from the first contact with clients through to successful fulfilment of the occasion; you will ensure that the clients receive the highest possible level of professional service with maximum attention to detail.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Experience with UK leading Conference & Banqueting operations and / or Event Catering companies
  • Sales experience, including working to targets
  • A background in planning/organising and delivering events to the highest quality/attention to detail from a hospitality perspective
  • Costing, quoting, preparing proposals and event schedules, accurate and timely invoicing
  • A current clean driving licence and own transport
  • Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be physically fit and active with sound energy levels.

    Sales Executive

    Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be directly involved in the selling and promotion of our venues, events and experiences to both the corporate marketplace and to individuals who are looking for a bespoke event.  This job will never be boring!

    You do not need experience in the conference and banqueting arena but you will need to impress us with your sales abilities and work experiences to date.  If you are

    Experienced Restaurant Floor Staff

    Dine wish to recruit experienced restaurant floor staff for our fantastic Roundhay Park café/restaurant.

    You’ll be working in a high volume, high quality table service café/restaurant operation and ideally you’ll bring with you at least 2 years experience in a similar establishment.

    A passion for customer service as well as an interest in food is essential for this position.

    We’d expect you to have good people-management skills and be a dedicated team player. You’ll be working as part of a highly professional team serving fine quality local produce, you’ll naturally take pride in your work as we take great pride in ours. You’ll be responsible for overseeing areas of the restaurant, ensuring our high standards are maintained, nurturing and developing junior members of the team whilst contributing to a pleasant working environment.

    You’ll receive training specific to your role and we hope that you have a desire to develop your own skills and progress within the Dine group.

    Casual Restaurant Team Members

    Dine wish to recruit team members for our Roundhay Park café/restaurant.

    You’ll be working in a high volume, high quality table service café/restaurant operation and ideally you’ll bring with you some experience in a similar establishment. Your work will include serving food and drinks and maintaining our high standards in all the public areas of our cafe restaurant.

    You'll be keen to provide good customer service as well as having an interest in food.

    We’d expect you to have good people skills, be polite, friendly and reliable. You’ll be working as part of a highly professional team serving fine quality local produce.

    Positions are available with a varity of hours from 10-36 per week including daytimes, evenings and weekends.

    Events Team Members

    At Dine we are always interested to hear from people who are interested in joining our casual events catering team. We'd expect you to have some experience in hospitality perhaps from a restaurant, hotel or bar. You'll attend our food service training session and receive on the job training

    You'll get to work on some spectacular events in a wide variety of stunning venues across Yorkshire. Working with  Dine you'll be involved in all aspects of our events from setup through to service. It's helpful if you have your own car although not necessary. To apply please email your C.V.

    Event Chefs

    We are always keen to hear from talented chefs who are available to work on events with us. You'll be working with fresh ingredients creating fantastic food in sometimes challenging venues. We expect applicants for this role to have a number of years restaurant and or banqueting experience. You'll be working on a huge variety of events with guest numbers from 10-1000 in some of the most spectacular locations in the area.

    As part of our kitchen team you'll be working with our highly professional team of full time chefs and service staff who take great pride in their work.
