Imagine arriving the day before with your closest friends and family - you can stay in the 12 bedrooms which include one of Europe’s largest Bridal Suites, a couple of family suites and a range of luxury twin and double rooms (the house can sleep up to 28 guests).  Within the house there are range of stylish lounge areas so that you can sit back and enjoy the weekend with everyone.

The Day Before

When you arrive at Howsham, our team can be on hand to greet you and your guests with some light refreshments or perhaps a delicious home-made afternoon tea.  The 80 acres of grounds are perfect for a range of outdoor activities, or you may wish to spend the afternoon relaxing in one of the many opulent lounges next to one of our roaring fires.

In the evening, there are a range of catering options available and our team will be happy to work with you to create a hassle free stay for everyone.

The Big Day

Howsham Hall offers the best of everything –  the Bridal Suite is the perfect space for pre-wedding pampering, and the Billiard Room offers a quiet retreat for a pre-ceremony game of pool.

The Great Hall is licenced for Civil Ceremonies and has glorious views across the countryside that surrounds the house.  Reception Drinks & Canapés on the front lawn allows guests to really appreciate the beautiful setting, and the grounds have endless backdrops for those all important photographs.

Coming back inside, your Wedding Breakfast would be served in the Drawing Room, which has a fabulous fireplace and features.  It’s a beautiful and elegant room, seating up to 96 guests (or up to 160 guests can be seated for dinner using the Drawing Room and Great Hall, which has a doorway linking the two).

After speeches, guests can make their way out to the riverside terrace, which adjoins the bar and dance floor area to party the night away!

The Day After

Let the Dine Team look after you while you enjoy a relaxed Champagne Breakfast or Brunch with friends and family before you finally head off on your honeymoon.
