Howsham Hall is private, 400 year old Grade I listed hall, with 12 fantastic ensuite bedrooms, set in area of outstanding natural beauty. It is available to hire exclusively for your event or celebrations, making it a perfect location for a retreat.

All bedrooms are luxuriously furnished with hi-speed WIFI and Nespresso machines. Your Events Manager can arrange a variety of services, including chauffeur transfers, entertainment, and drinks & catering options for you. Please ask for more details and costs.

Clients hiring the venue for more than one consecutive day can opt to check in on the first day from 3pm and receive a 50% discount on the venue hire.

Please note, bank holiday weekends are classed as high season dates, please ask for pricing for Christmas & New Year’s Eve. Civil Ceremony room hire is £250 + VAT. Venue Hire excludes bedrooms, these are booked in addition to the venue itself.

Please note

We request that all 12 rooms are booked during High season, and at least 2 floors are booked during mid and low season. During Monday – Thursday all year, we ask that one floor is booked.

Bedroom rates are based on two guests per room and include a full continental breakfast, served between 8:30 and 9:30am. Check-out is by 10:30am.
For bedrooms that accommodate more than two guests, an additional charge will apply.

Put-up beds are available for children and include the bed, breakfast, linen, and towels. An additional charge will apply if required.

Bedroom rates are based on the same guests staying for consecutive nights. Where a bedroom turnaround is required, a charge of £100 + VAT per room will apply.
