With four acres of lawns and walkways, the Walled Garden was created with the flexibility for different sized weddings and events. The newly-restored Cupola is licenced for wedding ceremonies, whilst the adjoining Gardeners Cottage is a perfect spot for the wedding preparations and overnight accommodation. Additional accommodation is available just a short walk away in the village.

Next to the garden is the 3 bed Gardener’s Cottage- the perfect spot for you and your wedding party to relax and get ready for the day. Light and bright, there’s the perfect set up for your hair and makeup as well as a fully equipped kitchen for those all important glasses of champagne!

We are licenced for wedding ceremonies under the historic cupola, for the perfect outdoor wedding ceremony. We also work with St peter’s Church, just a few minutes away.

Whatever type of wedding ceremony you would like, whether a straightforward civil ceremony, a personalised celebrant-led wedding, or a mixture of the two, we can recommend suppliers to create a bespoke wedding ceremony unique to you.

The Walled Garden is blessed with lots of  wonderful locations for your wedding photographs! From the classical cupola, the historic iron gates, the Edwardian corner houses with their beautiful stone steps, or our new woodland walk under the trees, you are sure to have the most stunning wedding photos.

With the ceremony over, it’s party time! Here the flexibility of the Walled Garden really comes into its own.
