Sophia Tolli’s dresses follow a similar theme of universally flattering styles in dramatic and elegant shapes, so there’s something for all body types. Angel Brides also feature the timeless Justin Alexander, for that understated Grace Kelly vibe. Phil Collins too (no, not him!) is great for a range of classic shapes and smaller budgets. For the retro lovers, Brighton Belles make a stunning choice of tea-length frocks with Fifties full skirts.

Set down a calm street in the quiet town of Horsforth, this is a charming boutique staffed by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team, even featuring several in-house seamstresses. What’s more, they’re members of the Retail Bridalwear Association and its attendant insurance scheme, so you can buy with confidence. Lovely.

Reassuringly, they’re also members of the Retail Bridalwear Association, meaning their gowns are guaranteed by our ‘Brides Insurance Scheme’.

Why we like it:  Situated in the picturesque village of Baildon just outside Leeds, the Bridal Boutique is quite simply full of beautiful wedding dresses. However, it’s not about the quantity – the boutique is absolutely luxurious and the owners Sally and Charlotte have chosen some truly lovely designers, so the quality really shines through.

One of the best things we’ve heard about the Bridal Boutique Leeds is the excellence of the customer service. With 7 years’ trading under their belt and a combined 20 years’ experience in the bridal industry, Sally and Charlotte know a thing or two about which dresses suit different kinds of weddings and different kinds of brides. Attentive listeners, they’re incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging about dress designs, so you’ll be sure to come away with a definite idea of what you’re really looking for (if not your dream dress, which more often happens, we’ve heard!).
